The Chevy Traverse’s 2.5L Turbo engine and 8-speed automatic transmission deliver 328 horsepower at 5500 rpm and 326 lb.-ft. of torque at 3500 rpm. The 2.5L Turbo engine uses Stop/Start technology to lower your fuel usage by turning the engine off automatically at complete stops.

Exterior

This mid-size SUV has an eye-catching exterior with bright upper door moldings and black roof-mounted side rails. The door handles and bodyside moldings match your Traverse’s body color, which can be a wide range of shades, including Lakeshore Blue Metallic, Radiant Red Tintcoat, or Harvest Bronze Metallic. Standard exterior features on the LT trim include deep-tinted glass windows, heated power mirrors, 18-inch Grazen Metallic aluminum wheels, and an AutoSense power liftgate.

Cabin

The Chevrolet Traverse has a 7-passenger seating capacity, with an 8-way power driver seat, a 4-way manual front passenger seat, a SmartSlide second-row passenger seat, and a 60/40 flat-folding rear bench. Both front seats have a multilevel heat function as part of the Chevy Convenience Package. This package also provides a heated steering wheel and Remote Start, which lets you start your SUV from outside the vehicle.

With tri-zone automatic climate control and the cabin humidity sensor, you can create the perfect atmosphere inside your Traverse’s cabin. Tri-zone automatic climate control offers three individual temperature zones, giving passengers more control over their comfort. Other standard cabin elements in the 2025 Traverse include a 6-speaker audio system, a wireless charging station, and USB charging ports.

Technology

The new Chevrolet Traverse has an advanced color LCD display that measures 17.7 inches diagonally. This display gives you access to wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration, Google built-in, SiriusXM satellite radio, and navigation capability.

The 2025 Traverse also comes with Wi-Fi hotspot capability for up to ten different devices. This includes smartphones, tablets, and laptops. The Traverse’s hotspot works anywhere within fifty feet of the SUV.

Safety

The Chevy Traverse comes with two advanced safety packages to prevent common causes of accidents: Chevy Safety Assist and Safety Package 1.
